Are You Ready to Unapologetically Share Your Story?

There was a time I thought sharing my story and speaking my truth from a place of being healed, whole, restored, fulfilled, healthy, being a victor and over-comer of challenging life situations would bring healing or an opportunity for all sisters to be empowered.

I was wrong, I realized while many needed to hear my truth and I needed to continue sharing with my sisters; my message was not for everyone and it resonated differently with each person.

For some, It brought out a light bulb or an aha moment and an opportunity to connect to find someone they identified with and in some instances begins their healing process.

For others it brought up shame and guilt; experiences they felt should never be talked about, except in their heads or constantly regurgitating with God

For others, it brought out anger something to shrug off and get over quickly, why waste time talking about something in the past.

For others, it brought about a feeling of inferiority and the need to cover it up by placing it under the mat and putting on a persona that I’m in a better position than you, let me counsel you.

For another, it brought out sadness and pain, a time for pity or sympathy, and a need to offer advice or a handout.

In the past, this bothered me. I wanted everyone to feel joy, fulfillment, and success instead of complaints, excessive eating, lack of energy, constant headache, etc, and failure to even recognize the good things in their lives.

In these earlier times, when I shared my story and the feedback was one of pity or the giving of some advice suggesting that I wasn’t happy and healed, I began to wonder, “My God”, I would say, “Why aren’t they getting it? “

Why can’t they see that my sisters and I who have been through a similar situation and have done the inner work, through prayer, coaching, therapy or counseling, nutrition, having fun, doing appropriate self-care activities, journaling, and expressing gratitude are so happy and wanted others to begin doing their work to feel that fulfillment?

It was then Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance both my spiritual and health coaching training on this matter. Simply put, everyone would react differently to whatever part/s of my story resonated or created a trigger. Some would never even believe that they can be healed and experience joy and fulfillment.

I couldn’t control anyone’s response to my message, my responsibility was to simply continue sharing my message and speaking my truth to help women who are ready to dig deep, awaken to their inner power, regain their confidence, clarify their diet, de-stress and move successfully to their next chapter.

That reminder brought renewed peace and increased confidence that it was also quite appropriate to encourage, motivate and help other leading women like you to begin crafting their personal wellness or well-being story to help others get to their joy and fulfillment.
