Last Night’s Full Moon Reflections & A New Week’s Beginning

Last night’s moonlight was nothing short of magnificent—luminous, bright, and unapologetically present in the sky. I stepped into my evening ritual with intention, taking a long, warm shower with delightful crystal salt, cleansing not just the dust of the day, but also the residue of lingering thoughts and energies.

As the water flowed over me, I took extra care—not only to clean my body, but to notice my mind. What has God allowed me to see as blessings? What is showing up, or no longer showing up, that is beneficial to me? Under the energy of the full moon, I reflected.

I felt the spirit of my great-grandmother, who would sit by her window and offer up sweet prayers—never bitter, always making peace, always looking out for us, her dear ones. And I saw a vision of my beloved son, Kwame, who now rests beyond the great beyond. In my dream, he was a little boy again, holding my hand and leading me down a crowded street. His presence was proud and reassuring.

Last night’s cards whispered to me quietly…

And here is my truth. For a long time, I kept my card readings private, quietly weaving them into my personal Moon Medicine without sharing them openly. But last night’s full moon brought with it a release of fear. By sharing them here, I am embracing every aspect of who I am—with confidence, with poise, and with trust that my authenticity is my strength. This is my willingness to participate fully in my own truth and to radiate into the world the great manifestation of my Sacred Spiral Method journey—rooting in, rising in, and radiating in love.

The Three of Cups brought the reminder of joyful connection, of community and celebration. The Page of Cups reversed whispered about self-reflection—asking me to pay attention to my inner world, to my creativity, and to the places I’ve been hesitant to dream bigger. And the Queen of Swords, regal and grounded, called me to step into my clarity, to stand in truth, and to cut away what no longer serves.

I release. I tear. I burn. I see. I listen. God is good. And now I stand in celebration—of the luminous moon above, of the courage it takes to heal, and of the sweet memories that cover me like honey.

Today begins a brand new week, and I am choosing to start it in rhythm, right on time—not behind.

I am also celebrating the huge success of our 1st Youth Engagement Art Conference, led by our Global Director, Dr. Anita C. Powell of the G100 Youth Engagement Wing. Sponsored by Art Heals by Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo and Creative Beacons International Group, this event was a testament to the power of creative expression. I am proud to have been on the organizing team for this Creative Art Conference and to represent Grenada as an Advisory Member. We were beautifully represented by our youngest youth participant, Jayden Samuel, who delivered a moving poetry performance.

The moon reminds me that life is full of cycles, and each one offers an invitation—to root, to rise, and to radiate. And so, with gratitude and anticipation, I welcome what this week will bring. https://revjoslyn.blog/events/
